"Ken Je Me Nog?" is a powerful and poignant exploration of memory loss and the pressures facing this generation. Using black and white, analogue photography, I capture the fragility of memory and the fleeting nature of time.
The title of my project, which translates to "Do you remember me?" in English, speaks to the central theme of memory loss. Through my images, I ask the viewer to consider the impact of losing memories, both on an individual and a societal level. In addition to exploring memory loss, my project also touches on the pressure placed on this generation to succeed. The images reflect the stress and strain that many people feel in the face of high expectations and intense competition.

The collages I create from my photos add an extra layer of meaning to my work, creating a sense of fragmentation and disorientation that echoes the experience of memory loss. The contrast of images also highlights the contrast between the past and the present, and the way memories can become distorted over time. Overall, "Ken Je Me Nog?" is a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant project. Through my images, I draw attention to important issues and encourage the viewer to reflect on the significance of memory, both in our personal lives and in the wider world.
